Bizview v23.4 Release Notes

The Settings flyout now includes the ability to apply formatting to Subtotals, as well as view the existing formatting applied to rows.

Platform users can now access the Pendo Resource Center via the Help menu in Bizview.

Template Designers can now define a custom format for Subtotal rows, allowing them to match it to the specific branding theme. Additionally, the Settings flyout now contains a remove option that allows Template Designers to remove a Subtotal level so that they can keep the template up to date.

Template Designers now have the ability to add Subtotals from the Settings flyout, as supported by the new 'Apply' and 'Cancel' buttons.

Additionally, the Subtotal section now includes a 'Formatting' drop-down that allows Template Designers to format subtotal rows so that they are easily identifiable in the generated template. Formatting options include:

• Bluescale

• Greenscale

• Greyscale

You no longer receive a 500 Internal Server Error when attempting to save a corrected SQL Query in Data Views after a failed save attempt.

You can now save a new or existing Workflow without setting a Due Data in the Property Panel, as expected.

Subtotal details added to the worksheet now display in the right panel, allowing Template Designers to easily access and view the values.

Forms can be locked for modification based on the selection pane criteria. If the Form has a selection pane, verify based on the selection pane values:

• If control values match those of the primary user, then the Form should be locked

• If mandatory control values match but non-mandatory values differ, then the Form should be locked

• If controls have multi-select values and some of them overlap with the selection of the primary user, then the Form should be locked

Users are now notified when a locked Form is released and available to subsequent users for modifications.

The Xero login no longer fails due to redirection.

The correct file extension, xlsx, now displays on the Currency Rates export, as expected.

The Settings flyout now offers the ability to add a property when configuring the report data. Upon selecting 'Add property', Template Designers can access all required details for a subtotal function, including:

• Group by

• Function

• Viewtag

The Data View field now displays on the Settings flyout, allowing Template Designers to view the settings that belong to a particular field.

Preview performance was improved for Templates with Spreadkeys.

The Global Filter (Column D) no longer clears upon updating a parameter in the right panel.

When trying to add a new mapping for an object with the type Object Attribute or Parent Attribute, the system no longer automatically changes the mapping type to Parent Object upon saving.

A new Settings tab allows Template Designers to configure different template properties so that they can analyze the data in their generated reports.

The Tripletex Plugin now executes the correct parameter, as expected.

In Forms, the Home toolbar now includes a lock icon that allows you to disable other users from making edits so that you are the only person who has the ability to update the data, while others can simply view it in read-only mode.

You can now use copy and paste in Forms, as expected.

ROWGROUP now works, as expected.

When editing a cell, if the same value is entered after being removed, the cell value now updates accordingly.

Workflow designers now have the ability to disable or enable workflow steps in Design mode. This enhancement promotes easier workflow management by allowing admins to deactivate a step, or multiple steps, without having to delete the workflow altogether. Once deactivated, admins can then reactivate the step with the click of a button, rather than recreating each disabled step.

This release includes numerous enhancements to the Data Binding section in Template Design, as well as the Drag and Drop feature previously implemented in Bizview v23.2. Updates include, but are not limited to, the ability to select numerous Data Views, visual representations for Data Views, measure fields, and common dimensions, and new Data Binding sections.

The new report template parameter, NEW_DATA_BIND, gives you the option to utilize the new drag and drop design introduced in Bizview v23.2. To continue using the existing data binding functionality, set this parameter to 'DISABLED'. For new reports, the default value for this parameter is 'ENABLED'.

System Administrators can now import PDS data via the Bizview application. This enhancement provides a drop-down menu that allows you to import data for different Business Views. Upon import, Bizview displays a log that identifies which Business Views were successfully imported, along with a list of any that failed.
